A great find! As I get older, with a hip replacement, I find my balance is not a good as it used to be. Add that to arthritis in my knee, I found I needed some support on my much loved hikes. These poles are wonderful! I love them! They give me the support and security I need. I would highly recommend the Alpine Summit Trekking Poles!
Great Item! This is the second set of poles I’ve purchased. The first set being from another company and they were a little difficult to operate, i.e. extending and collapsing as needed. These poles are rigid, easy to operate, and compact. Love em
CANT GO WRONG……. …with these good, solid, non-slipping high-grade poles!!!!!!!!!!.. At half the cost, or less, of other high-end poles you just cant go wrong with these!!! They will be my support–pun intended—for my next thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail this coming years of 2017. Exremely comfortable hand grips, nothing beats cork! Get yourself a pair and you wont be disappointed. Flip-locks are excellent. The hand-nuts are plastic, which is my only quibble as I am not sure of their endurance, yet,…
