I just ordered a second one. We have eight people scheduled for this year’s trip, and one table won’t be enough, so I ordered a second one. Each table can seat four diners. This thing seems light and insubstantial until you snap on the top and then it’s surprisingly solid. We bought our first one six or seven years ago and have been using it once or twice a year for week-long wilderness canoe trips. It’s been great with no problems. Aluminum Table I recently purchased this to replace an old Coleman wooden table top with steel legs. I specifically chose this because the wood top on my old one rotted away and the legs started to rust after a few seasons: and i didn’t leave it out in the weather. This, however, is almost all aluminum. So no rot or rust. Very Functional For $35 it’s well worth it. The slats are real aluminum, not silver colored plastic or vinyl coated particle board. I wanted something to put my portable BBQ grill on when I “stealth” barbecue on my apartment balcony. I also wanted it to be portable to serve double duty for road trips, car camping etc. This table does that.
