Soft cotton rope is very absorbent It’s big. Too big for the 9′ AmazonBasics Hammock stand. It literally lays on the ground between the two connectors.I didn’t actually measure the dimensions, but the wooden spreader bars are nearly shoulder high on me and I’m 5’5″ tall. The cotton rope is thick and soft, and incredibly absorbent too. It holds a lot of water and doesn’t want to give it up easily. Indoor, covered patio hammock very comfortable but missing 2 clips This is a nice hammock BUT you should know what you are buying before placing an order. If you are wanting a full-time outdoor hammock – this is NOT for you. It’s all cotton and will decay fairly rapidly. If you want something to set-up and take down now and then, this will work great. No frills relaxation Look, this hammock gets the job done and does it quite well. However, it is pretty basic, hotel hammock. Don’t expect the mother of all hammocks from this.
