Just as good as the name brands Don’t let the name make you think that these are a cheaper version of a cast iron product. These are just as good if not better than the high end name brands out there and the best part they cost a fraction of what you would pay. Heavy and sturdy and food comes out delicious. I would recommend washing them by hand. I personally find that some products don’t belong in the dishwasher. They are easy to clean up and don’t require heavy scrubbing.
These should last a very long time Who doesn’t love a good cast iron pan? We use them all. The. Time. In our house. These AmazonBasics brand are very nice. They feel like you’d expect. I do recommend seasoning them on your own when you get them, before you use them. We had to. They say pre-seasoned but the oil I sprayed on the 1st one I used soaked right in. I took a photo for scale, the size is hard to judge from just the Amazon photo. If you have never cooked with cast iron, buy a frying pan first and see how you like it.Cast iron has a high heat capacity, it gets hot and holds the heat.
