I’m very impressed I am very impressed with this knife. I was using a cheap spring assisted Kershaw knife I received as a gift for years until I forgot it was in my pocket while going through a metal detector at a professional basketball game and had to go ahead and throw it away. (The walk back to the car would have been outrageous and the knife was getting dull) SO naturally I felt naked without a knife and felt that this time I wanted to upgrade a bit. Boy am I glad that I did. This knife is MUCH more…

Nice knife. Very solid knife and very well made. The locking mechanism is solid and there is no slop in the handle. I have carried many rescue style knives over the years and this knife is better than some that cost me over $200.00. We will see how it holds up to daily use.

Bob says:

Blade Lock Won’t Work – Returned It I tested 3 knives of the same configuration. A Smith & Wesson Black Ops SWBLOP3S at $30, This Anvil Bullshark at about $40 and the Benchmade Barrage at about $130. All had serrated blades with lengths and shapes that were nearly identical. The use of this knife is for emergency rope cutting on a boat so it is similar to self defense – it needs to be fast and safe to open and needs to get the job done quickly.
