has some nice programmable lighting and doesn’t require soldering to switch between … Had I known this unit existed, I would have bought it over the Anytone 5555N. They are basically the same except this one is much smaller, has some nice programmable lighting and doesn’t require soldering to switch between CB and 10 meters – It’s just a matter of holding a few buttons when you turn it on. This unit will do both CB and 10 meters on AM, FM and SSB. It’s pretty loaded with options, too. Great Chinese radio.

Awesome CB.. not for advanced Hams Pros.. it is a solid radio. AM and SSB works very well.. install and basic setup very easy..Cons… stock microphone sucks.. ( i put astatic rwd devil on it with thw 4 pin to 6 pin adapter now it is super crystal cleat and awesome SSB..I would recommend to any serious cb person..

Space confined? This is the solution but there are sacrifices. Radio is nice. When space is an issue this radio may be the answer. The downside is many frequently used features are buried in menus. It’s the trade you make for the smaller footprint. Want to move between AM/USB/LSB? You will have to rotate through the menu which includes the PA&FM (AnyTone needs to provide functionality to disable those two). Need to change you microphone gain? Menus. Want to dim the display at night. Nope. Power connection is hard wired into the radio. Not a huge…
