Firmware Issue? I had to reflash the firmware for most of the menu options to appear. The radio ships on 1.12 but my unit did not have most of the main menu options.
Best bet for the buck Dual band DMR – very nice. With bluetooth and GPS. I like it very much feels like a good solid radio. Once I get it all programmed this will live in my backpack or on my belt.
Save yourself headaches and cash. Buy the AT-D868UV Instead. I read every available review of the Anytone AT-D878UV with GPS and Bluetooth before I ordered it. Reviewers raved about its build quality and general ease of use, (at least compared to other DMR radios). I have learned *much* more in the days since it arrived on my doorstep, including playing with it for many hours, programming it (also for many hours), as well as hunting down and testing work-arounds to multiple firmware and software glitches.(Hint: If you donât structure your DMR…
