Quick and easy Bought this for a house we’re renting. The good news is that its pretty simple to set up! I’ve never done any type of plumping/water installation before but honestly if you had household tools and followed the instructions it’s pretty easy.It can be a bit confusing with the water lines (red vs white) that they provide you, even with the included pictures since they aren’t in color, its hard to tell, but after you get to a certain page in the instructions, it tells you what line goes…
Well built, easy to install, terrific results I had a two-cartridge unit for years that I was happy with, but the people who bought my house wanted it. So, new house, new undersink water filter. After hunting around and reading all sorts of reviews, I settled on the APEC 3-cartridge unit. Where I live now the water has a higher chlorine content that my previous location. Wow… best water ever! We have a well and typical well hard water with a very unpleasant taste. I installed the WFS-1000 under our coffee-bar sink to provide filtered drinking water and clean tasting water for tea and our espresso maker. What a difference!
