The Arcturus All Weather Outdoor Survival Blanket is a super versatile blanket. It is a must have for hikers, campers and boaters. This lightweight blanket features a strong nylon outer layer coupled with an aluminum reflective layer on the inside. The aluminum side reflects up to 90% of body heat.
This blanket comes in its own carry bag and weighs only 12 ounces. It is 5′ x 7′ when fully deployed.
The aluminum side of the blanket can be used to reflect heat, create a radiant barrier or signal for help. The other side is made of a durable nylon which can be used as a blanket, tarp or shelter.
Can be used as a ground tarp, shelter, tent or emergency blanket when camping, hunting, backpacking or boating. Keep one in the trunk of your car. All four corners have grommets so that it can be staked to the ground or strung up as an overhead shelter.

Compact tarps that worked well as an extra layer on my sleeping bag I purchased these to go winter camping outside of Ely MN. The temps were pretty warm — highs of about 36, and lows about +18F, with winds averaging 12-20 mph. I slept under the stars with a sleeping bag rated at +20F. I used one “blanket” as a ground cloth and a second one as a blanket over my bag. I was warm all night long. They are more compact than my usual “blue tarps” as ground cloth. Since it was so warm, I cannot be sure that the reflective coating [space blanket]…
Feral cat approved! Tears easily however. I have made at least 30 little shelters for my outdoor feral cats and they all prefer the ones with these tarps. It’s been freezing cold down below zero and they always run to the ones with these tarps. Coincidence? I think not. My cats are so smart when it comes to warmth. It would be awesome if they came in larger sizes too. I didn’t see any if there are.Update: Unfortunately, I had to take at least one star off because one of the corner grommets ripped just like the one bad…
Reflects the heat really well. Got these to use to cover the bunk ends of our Popup camper and found that they worked great in keeping the heat down inside the Popup camper. I had to make some adjustments to the blanket while my wife was inside the camper and as soon as I took the blanket off she came outside and was wondering why the temperature jump up so fast. The only draw back we had was I initially used a bunge cord to secure the blanket and pulled it a little to tight and it did rip the grommet from on of the…
