QA needs work. Defective on arrival. The LED doesn’t fire up almost at all. Have to go to a dark room and put your eye a millimeter away to see it.I tried several different batteries.I got this after watching “Freakin’ Reviews” on YouTube but I guess the QA on this thing is spotty.Seems to be a gamble that the unit you get is either doa or dies/breaks shortly thereafter.Otherwise the headstrap is nice and it sits on the head well. Great headlamp, but…. Great headlamp. Super bright beam when batteries are strong. I had two of these crap out on me after two weeks though and had to return them. Amazon seller was awesome with the return.
You have to get rechargeable batteries I purchased the light as I saw some good youtube reviews on the light and figured for 10 dollars why not. First of all let me say this light is BRIGHT! I was shocked how bright the light was and how easy it was to center the light beam where I needed it, after just 8 minutes I noticed the beam was getting much dimmer than when I first started and have 16 minutes I barely had any light left.
