look good, feel good They fit perfectly, look good, feel good, and stay up pretty well also. I wanted lightweight wool socks that would not make all my shoes and boots feel too tight (like my heavyweight wool socks do), and these are just right. I hope to be able to wear them year-round as they do not make my feet feel hot in my shoes like cotton blend socks do.So far there’s been no shrinkage. When will they establish ANSI type standards for sizes??? Socks too small around calves and ankles! I gave these two stars because I am sure that there are men out there that have ankles and calves that are very slender and they can enjoy these socks, but my ankles and calves are too large and these socks bind tightly both at the top of the sock and just above the heel where the sock circles the ankle. I am disappointed because at first I loved these socks…but after wearing them all day my ankles were turning blue from the tight fit. The fit in the foot area was fine. I wear a size 13…
Sub par… No where near as good as less expensive merino wool or blended socks Iâve purchased. Not sure why these come so highly rated… I have a number of other merino wool (or blended) socks and they all perform better than these. My feet get moist (and donât particularly smell great) after wearing the socks for literally just a few minutes… After testing them out for a day I hand washed them and hung them to dry; the material is already piling and unraveling… I donât know if I got the one bad batch they make, but these are in no way worth the price tag and I would bet money that…
