Good durable alternative to the “toy” radios. I have a fairly decent collection of radios and use them for work and hobby. I have been ordering these for use by my company. They work fairly well and hold up better than the cheap blister pack radios you buy at the store. They are programmed out of the box to work together or you can download the free software that is fairly simple to use and program them yourself. If the clips or antenna get mangled or a battery dies it is easy to find replacement parts. We use over about 6 acres and…
Range issues, but sound good Mixed feelings! They are cheap feeling, light weight and assembly of the strap, battery, antenna, and belt clip take several minutes to install. Also takes awhile to fully charge them I would say around 6+ hours. Volume could be more than loud enough, the headphones would have been useful if we wanted to keep using them in a quiet area (but that never happened lol). Even when we docked in…
