MIGHT BE A PROBLEM WITH INTERNAL MICROPHONE CONTACT. OTHERWISE THIS IS A GREAT RADIO I have experienced a problem after programming the radio. It appears that after inserting the program cable the Microphone Contact, internal to the radio, did not close completely. After programming persons that I was speaking with stated there was considerable static in my transmission. After checking all that I could to try and find the static another Baofeng owner told me to insert and remove the programming cable.
