Bbq set This is going to be a Xmas gift so I just glanced at it before wrapping. It looks good but was not quite as quality looking as I had hoped. It was a lightning deal and for the price was a perfect “extra gift” for someone I don’t know very well. It was a set that I would have been satisfied to keep and use myself but since it was a gift I did not get to assess the real quality of the tongs, fork, knives etc.
No. Just no. As others have mentioned (and I wished I’d check the reviews first), these are tiny tools. You will burn yourself if you try to use these while cooking on an active grill. The spatula seems incredibly flimsy. The knife appears okay so far, but I’m not confident about it’s longer term use. The case is horrible. The “latches” deformed when first opened and to get it closed again, I have to pop the locking bump out by hand each time. Look elsewhere.
Nice but not true to color The item was not true to color and that was one of the main reasons I bought this particular set-because my fiance loves that burnt orange color. That being said, this is still a nice set, especially for the price! I have changed my review from 4 to 5 stars because I really do like the set- even if the color is a little different from the picture.
