A very good choice for the trails. This works as advertised. The only problem that became apparent is the proximity of a sleeper’s body to the net when stretched out in the hammock. This isn’t the bug net’s fault, per se. It’s just the way the net hangs down around the hammock. I tried a couple things but never found a good way to avoid the problem other than making sure a blanket and the hammock fabric was between my arms and the net (to make it as hard as possible for biting insects at those spots). I tested this for 5 days on…
High quality, compact pack down, totally happy. I haven’t been able to use this in really ‘buggy’ weather yet, but I have tested it out on a cold and rainy January night. The quality seems to be top notch. I used it with my double hammock and my . I put both the hammock and underquilt inside this bug net. I was concerned that the bug net would be too tight and would compress my underquilt- my worry was unfounded…
Works fine For the price, it’s great! Keeps the bugs out and fits perfectly over my kammok hammock. easy to stuff back into the stuff sack. Only annoying thing, and this is a problem with all horizontal zippers, is getting up and trying to open/close the zippers. Hard to explain, but if the zippers are open all the way, its hard to reach them once you’re laying inside the hammock. I can see why others prefer the vertical zippers for this reason.
