It’s a cool little blanket. It’s a cool little blanket. Packs down even after initially taking it out. It’s cute, waterproof, doubles as a tarp… you really can’t ask for more here. I hate getting sand everywhere so I’ve found this to be great to put down before putting a towel on the beach and posting up. Tons of uses, the other day my husband was still out on the lake and I was hot and came in off the water, had this in the hatch of my kayak and spread it out under a tree and read a book while he finished on the lake…
Something any adventurer should have This is a fantastic little item any hiker should keep in their pack. I keep mine as a nice emergency compact tent. I could not be more happy

However, this worked great for that one beach trip- it repels water and it is easy to brush off sand. The corner pockets are great because you can anchor it without stakes. It took two tries, but I was able to get it back in the pouch. If I have one quibble, it is that the majority of the blanket is dark gray and gets hot in the sun, but it was fine under my beach umbrella.
