Very good for the kids I personally have a UV5R and BF888s to connect with adults in the family but this made good for the kids who want to do their kiddie chatter. One thing I didn’t like is that it didn’t bond well with UV5R but that could be Baofengs Side of things and not this one. The kids seemed to like the clear communication and I like that they can communicate at far distances even in a wooded area.
So cute and tiny I love these walkie talkies. I was looking for something for my 4 year old. We are moving into a bigger apartment and he wanted to be able to reach us. The set comes with four, and each one takes 3 AAA batteries, I believe. Thats 12 batteries total. Just make sure when you order this you order batteries along with it. They are perfect for the little one, or for travel. I like the fact that they are not heavy and are small enough to fit in your pocket.
Good for kids These walkie talkies are good for basic purposes. It will be good for those who would just like to have a remote conversation with someone nearby or a traveler in a different car. They come in a 4 pack which is great. It also has a charger which allows you to charge all 4 units at the same time. However, does not include rechargeable batteries. This means you have to either buy your own rechargeable batteries(which I would recommend) or use regular AA batteries and insert new ones every time…
