I will be using the popular and similar in purpose, spyderco delica 4 (sd4) to compare it to the mini-griptilian 555hg (mg)Steel: 154cm – mg and vg-10 -sd4. Reviewing a Great Knife Let me get the few cons out of the way so I can rave for the rest of this review. The blade on my first order was quite off-center (was exchanged), the pink handle attracts smudges (possibly from the black bolts and clip), and there are two holes at the end of the handle that look like manufacturing mistakes (see photo). Super Happy with Benchmade Let me say this is my first Benchmade I am more of a Spyderco person. But wow am I impressed with this knife. It is insanely sharp out of box and the 154cm steel is one of my favorite EDC steels. I was not sure about how much I would like the Axis lock, but I am really glad I got this knife.
