Very high quality with two small ergonomic issues. Very high quality. My hands are a little on the large side and the handle isn’t quite big enough to fit comfortably in my hand. Also, the small metal ridges on the back might poke into your hand. Overall not a big deal, though, and I use it regularly.

Typical Benchmade quality and sharpness. I purchased this version … Typical Benchmade quality and sharpness. I purchased this version with synthetic scales and sheath for wet environments.I do have a couple of minor complaints, neither warranting deduction of a star.- The thin handle and spines might become uncomfortable after extended use.- The kydex sheath provides no retention by itself and the snap retention can be hard to engage.

Beautifully made blade, perfect size for general hunting use. I switched from my 35-year-old Buck to this Benchmade in order to have a grippier handle for cleaning deer. Okay, I probably really just wanted a new knife, and used the handle as an excuse to buy one, but it’s a great little knife, very well made, and indeed did not slip while I was poking around a deer this fall.
