Child-sized, the kids are enjoying them These are a great size for child-sized hands. It’s a good thing the interface is quite easy to figure out, because the manual is minimal and not very descriptive. That being said, the kids have been talking to each other across the house all afternoon. We have not tested at long range, I don’t anticipate using it that way. Perfect for toddlers. These are so cute for my three and four year old. Very basic and easy to use. My husband and I set up the channel part for them and they each go in their rooms and talk to each other using these. I was surprised to see that these walkkie talkies have a 3 mile radius, not that they will really use them that far apart but Iâve been thinking about getting another set to give to the neighbor boy so my son and him can talk back and forth using these. Easy for kids to use We have a couple of other walkie talkie set and this one is easier for my 6 year old to use than either of those, including another toy set. The size is really good for little hands. I included a picture of the walkie talkies next to an iPhone for size. If you double tap the talk button, the handset will “call” the other handset, using a cell phone style ring.
