Compass It was purchased as a gift
NOT MIL-SPEC This is not the same compass you may have used in the US Services, it is an imitation of that compass. I gave this one to my son for him to play with….if he breaks it or loses it that’s ok.Under ideal circumstances you could probably shoot an azimuth and orient a grid map, which is what I intend to do with my son with this compass. It’s a good training aid, not the “real deal”.I give it 4 stars, as the compass is exactly that which is advertised and shipping was quick.
