It’s okay if you aren’t going to need to use it a lot Ordered for basket sealing at work (was tired of bringing mine from home when needed). It did an okay job at sealing the basket I was working on, but not as good of a job as my home hot air gun (unsure of brand). Took a little longer than I’m used to. However, the hot air gun I use at home has a tendency to burn holes in the shrink wrap if I’m not really careful. This one didn’t get hot enough to do that.

Not all hot air comes from politicians… Right out of the box I used this heat gun to soften the glue inside two different cell phones to replace parts. This instrument is easy to use, light to hold and provides a perfect amount of heat for any application. It is exactly what I have been looking for to start working on these annoying small devices (cell phones, tablets, etc.) With all the front screens and back covers held together with glue, this is a must-have tool for anybody masochistic enough to start repairing these devices…

Terry from SC says:

Great quality heating tool. Product matches description and function as advertised. Very good quality heat gun that I use for shrink wrapping stereo harness and other wire installs. The item is very safe and I have not had any problems with personal injury or damage to product this was being used on. Great for hobbies and small jobs requiring heat to shrink wrap or whatever your needs. I find that it can be used either turning off and on but find it works best if you prepare whatever your working on and leaving heat on so…
