Excellent bivy and so glad they brought the yellow color back! I used this light, bright bivy on my recent 84 mile backpack in the Grand Canyon. It was a pleasant experience, large enough to store all my gear inside with plenty of room for me, my pad, pillow and sleeping bag. I was comfortable and cozy. The weather was variable, it rained one night and froze another. There was no problem staying dry and the fabric breathed amazingly well. which is really annoying in rain or if many mosquitos are present or … I would go for a 1 man tent next time! There is very limited room in it. It is just barely possible to fit a big agnes 3.25 inches thick air mattress in it and sleep in there. You have to take all you clothes of before entering the tent, which is really annoying in rain or if many mosquitos are present or in the winter where it is really cold!But it packs down to a small size and is lightweight. Good, but could be improved. Since purchased I used this bivy as my only shelter on two separate trips:First, in winter: 5 nights with clear calm weather.Second, in autumn: 2 nights with rain, 3 nights with clear windy weather, 1 night with snow.I am 6’2″, about 190lbs. All nights were with a -7C down mummy bag and a vapor barrier to reduce sweat condensing in the bag.
