A versatile, extremely stable pole with game-changing Z-Pole technology, the Black Diamond Distance Z meets the everyday demands of day hikers, backpackers and trail runners. Much like their avalanche probes, their speed cone deployment employs a coated inner Kevlar cord and conical shaft ends for quick and strong alignment. You simply grab the grip and the first shaft section, and pull them away from each other. The pole will snap into place and lock. Each speed cone guides a shaft section into place and stiffens the joint when the pole is locked. They also have a lightweight EVA ribbed grip with mini extension for quick choke-ups on steep inclines and interchangeable tips for variable trail surfaces. Breathable, moisture wicking mesh wrist straps are right and left hand specific to maximize pushing power and minimize wrist pinch.Includes interchangeable, non-marking Z-pole Rubber Tips and Z-pole Carbide Tips.Stopper basket with shaft catcher secures folded sections.Color: Oxide Black.Import..NOTE: 3-season Z-Poles do not accept, or have fittings for snow or powder baskets..Sizes:.100: Usable Length 100cm (39 in.), Collapsed Length 33cm (13 in.), Weight 340g. Ultra Light Poles if you need a super light trekking pole this is for you…the down side is it can only adjust to one length so if you were going to use them as tent poles you may want to check if the length of the poles is going to work…other than that very happy…you are going to notice the weight as time goes by…at 10 miles into the hike some of the other hikers were complaining about the weight of their poles and how ultra light mine was

Exceptional stability and ease of use. Yeah these things are really good. Light-weight, strong; extend to extend or fold up while walking. Good comfortable strap handles and grips; and two extra replacement pole tips included. A hiking pro I met recommended aluminum poles such as these; the titanium ones tend to be brittle and their tips break he said; I have no direct experience with titanium though.I didn’t want to be adjusting the pole length up and down every time the terrain changed, so I got these fixed length poles…

Awesome, lightweight trekking poles! (Review for aluminum version, 110cm)These poles are awesome, they totally saved my knees from utter destruction this weekend in Shenandoah. I can’t believe I hiked so many years without trekking poles!Fit and Construction: I’m just over 5’4″ and these poles are only a TINY bit too tall, but only on the order of about an inch or so. They still fall within the recommended 10 degree difference when held vertically when standing. They come with foam grips but they are pretty…
