Outdoor bedroom,.. Perfect hideaway from all sort of bugs on our balcony, and plenty of floor space…for two. My wife is planning to hang some decorative lights inside the tent, not quite sure how that will play. In any case, we have now extra outdoor bedroom.
Best addition for the Megamid! I’ve had a Megamid ( my third) since first introduction. This is the best tent on the market. The bug tent is awesome. It has perfected the Megamid. I’ve camped my Megamid in -30 blizzards digging a cold sump and sleeping shelf under the tent. Just built a wall and piled snow on the edges to seal off the edges to gusts. I love the new vent and having the bug tent for bayou camping in Louisiana. SilNylon is great! Love it!!!
Great tent. We used the BD mid tent and bug combination in Philmont this year. Three scouts to a tent. Worked exceptionally well. Lots of head room. Used a solar power lantern in each tent for lighting. We have very heavy rains on this trek and the tents were wonderful in keeping us dry. Pack relatively small and easily backpackable. Looking forward to using them in the BWCA this coming summer. Make sure you seal the seams.
