I hate clicking, these are the cure. Very nice, wish amazon had said these already came with my new trekking poles, but oh well. Now I have a backup set. I hate the clicking of the metal tips, so these are a must have.

Helps with the ‘Clack Clack Clack’ Exactly what I needed to complement the Tech carbide tips that came with my poles so I could use them on asphalt occasionally. Wish these had come with the Alpine Carbon Cork poles but, hey, you can’t have it all.Very reasonably priced and solid. Highly recommended.

Put something over the top of these or plan one 1 or 2 seasons. These wear out way to fast. Look at how tiny they are. There isn’t much between the plastic and the metal. One season of not many hikes if your in the mountains and you’ll be down to metal. If you let that go too long (maybe because your 20 miles from the car) you’ll be tearing up your expensive poles. If you’re in flat-land, theses pea-sized tips will sink into ground that’s even remotely damp. What’s the answer? Put the push-on tips that are significantly bigger over the top of these…
