Press works great. No grounds at all Update 5/26/17: I use this nearly every day. I’ve made at least 75 coffees in this. It’s never once failed to push the grounds down. Grounds will basically not go through the screen. I’ve never tasted a ground a single time in the coffee.The feel and build quality is good. I wouldn’t say it’s excellent though. The worst thing about it is the rubber grab handle in the middle is always catching on my backpack or it’s coming off as I take it out of my backpack side pocket. It’s really loose and…

Most impressive. I originally had the plastic version of this product and loved it but it eventually cracked under heat stress. I figured that this steel model wouldn’t have that issue and i was not disappointed. This is very solidly made. Where some users report the lid not fitting properly when the contents are at room temperature, mine secured firmly right out of the box and maintained that seal when hot. Be smarter than the mug people! So many reviewers are complaining about this thing keeping coffee too hot and adding cream/sugar through the drink hole. Here’s the super secret process to get around those inconveniences: First add coffee grounds. Then add hot water. Wait a few minutes. Add sugar. Add cream. Add one ice cube. THEN place the top on and plunge. You’re Welcome.
