The first time I used it, I had just made a batch of sun tea, and when transferring it to the pitcher, went ahead and filled the bottle too. Wouldâve been great if outer base is made of different material These bottles are fantastic if you donât drop it which is why I gave it 4stars. But I already knew this before I bought it because I saw other reviews like this. Just wanted one of these bottles anyway because of how long these bottles keep your drink cold. Strange Smell The bottle is taller than i would have thought and does not fit well when trying to fill it from our home water cooler or my work water cooler. Worst of all it has a terrible smell inside it. I have washed it numerous times and used the included brush (which is a nice extra) but it has not gone away.
