Doesn’t Cut Braid!!! Bought these to cut braid, as well as a split ring pier. Split ring portion works OK, not great. DOES NOT CUT BRAID!! Other tools were a nice touch but not needed. Ended up getting the KVD/Mustad Split ring / braid cutter for $7 at Wal Mart and it snips 50lb braid like nothing.These just kind of gnaw at the braid until it breaks apart, leaving it heavily frayed
They clean easy and are easy to use Bought primarily for saltwater fishing. Have used now for several kayak fishing trips. They have held up very well to the saltwater. They clean easy and are easy to use.
Great multi-tool for the price Previously I always just used a regular pair of needle nosed pliers when fishing but found that they were useless for cutting braided line. That led me to trying these.
