Bad Design After 2 months of ownership: It’s a nice looking pitcher but its nothing special compared to the standard one that first came out. Digital feature is useless as any intelligent person can mark 60 days on a calendar. The lid is very annoying. It lifts off all the time and the part that lifts up to expose the water pouring area keeps falling off as well since its detachable for no reason whatsoever. $25-30 is a lot of money for a piece of plastic made in China that isn’t made properly. Well worth the money. This is my second Brita pitcher, had an old basic 5 cup that I loved and used for years til a thirsty cat worked it off the edge of the counter. Got this in today and was happy to see the filter design has stayed consistent as I had a few filters on hand for my old Brita that fit the new one perfectly. Saw a lot of complaints on the lid, poured my first glass expecting the worst, nothing. no problem whatsoever. maybe they fixed the design or people weren’t snapping them on correctly, but mine…
