Brita filters are good. Faucet system could use better design. The Brita System has flaws. The part that attaches to the sink has a system of lights that tell you when it’s time to change the filter. The non-replaceable battery dies in a few months. A new one is expensive and not necessary. The filters are supposed to be changed after 100 gallons. I wouldn’t have a clue when I get to that, so I just put a little sticker reminding me to replace it about every 4 months. Water tastes great, filter always fits well We’ve been using Brita on Tap for a few years and are very happy with the taste of the water we get from it. We usually buy the white filters, but for some reason the chrome filters are currently almost 5 bucks cheaper. The chrome finish is shiny and looks nice. It fits properly on my brita faucet system So realistically, I have to state that it doesn’t really seem to change the flavor of the water. Technically water is supposed to be flavorless to begin with, so the fact that the water has somewhat of a taste after going through the filtration means that the filter isn’t really doing TOO much to help purify the water.However, there’s only so much a filter can do to physically filter out water (especially when it comes to ions, which should hypothetically be impossible for this to…
