Surprisingly quality Chinese made Deciding to take a chance based on other reviews, I was not disappointed. No it doesn’t compare to a 110, which I recently purchased for $2 more on Amazon. Nor could it possibly be compared with a 547 which cost 3 times as much. Still enjoying this knife. If you can afford a 547 get that, and if you do not own a 110, I recommend you get that before an 835. But if you want a clip instead of leather pouch for Every Day Carry, this is a nice choice.

Can’t go wrong with Buck This is the second Selkirk knife that I own, the first is the strait blade. Both are two of the best knives I own. This knife came very sharp right out of the box. I LOVE THE WAY It feels in my hand. It fits perfect in my pocket of my pants. I use it every day, for one thing or anouther. I now have a total of four Buck knives that I own, and I plan on getting two more. With Bucks forever warranty a person can not go wrong..

Best 30 bucks I ever spent on a knife. This is not really a compact knife, but smaller in heft than the Buck 110. So, comparing it, what do you get that the Model 110 does not have? It has an easy opening feature, Micarta grips, pocket clip (removable), and a better ergonomic shape. It may be a bit larger than some might prefer for EDC, but I’ve been carrying mine for about 3 weeks and it has been great! It came decently sharp out-of-the-box, but I spent a little time honing it and it has held its edge ever since. Especially…
