I like that it is liteweigh but still beefy Carried this in my winter pack 16/17 dec. thur march and it came in handy. I like that it is liteweigh but still beefy. It came very sharp from the factory and held an edge very well. It also was easier to sharpen then I thought it would be, I use the puck to sharpen it twice and it worked well. I like the red coating, it hasn’t chipped or flaked yet except for normal wear at the blade. The handle is comfortable both chopping and choking up and shaving or carving. It made it through one season…

BUCK chops up the competition once again Awesome camp axe made with excellent craftsmanship. It has good weight that will be great for chopping. The wooden handle, red color, and stamped buck logo make this a one of a kind piece. This is one great tool, and the best part is that it was made in the USA!!
