Sharper than expected!! Very nice knife! A little smaller than I was expecting. Also sharper than expected. For the first time in may years I cut myself! I have big hands and the handle is small. Putting my thumb in the wrong place. There is not a guard on this knife. So be careful!
SHARP! Excellent value at $52. Blade arrives sharp as one would expect from a S30V stainless. There is an indent at the base of the handle where one can place paracord size loop (see photo). Sheath is unusual and will take some getting used to. Given the design of the sheath, there should have been an option to position it horizontally.
I have no doubt it will useful if get to take anymore deer this year Very sharp. After field dressing and complete processing of 3 large deer and one medium sized deer, they are still really sharp. Though I was expecting (s30v steel) it to be bit sharper though after everything was said and done. But nonetheless still really sharp. I have no doubt it will useful if get to take anymore deer this year. Also, buck knives will sharpen it for around $7, so thatâs a huge plus in getting it back to razor sharp for each deer season.
