No weight, lotta tool for the size, nice grip, good steel and edge retention love it, smaller than my other rescue knifes and the yellow rubber is grippy with a nice pocket clip to keep ready. Rubber seems to fade a bit but that’s probably because of my pocket lint? Just cleaned with tooth brush and dish soap and color mostly comes back. Lock button was pain at first but this is not unfolding accidentally – you must positively pull button down first and then you can assist opening with the top of the blade on the round part. Was a pain at first but now I don’t mind.

Great quality, lightweight, very functional This knife (as well as most other Buck knives I have used/owned) is a great buy. For a knife that is NOT spring-assisted, this knife is not very difficult to open and close. The lock and strap cutter on the end make it quite useful. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the cutter is exposed and offers very little protection for people like me (aka clutz). If I grab the knife in my pocket or out of a bag, etc, it is very easy for me to accidentally cut myself on that part of the…

Awesome – Perfect for my needs Haven’t used it in a ‘rescue’ situation, but appears as though it would be up to the job. The glass breaker is a question mark, but aren’t they all, until you need it? I’m very happy to replace an old Puma with this, for the car. It’s just going to sit in the console or glovebox, until / if it’s ever needed.
