In 2014 Buck celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the 110 Folding Hunter. This is the original folding lockback; large enough for any chore, but small enough when folded for belt or pocket carry. The 110FG Folding Hunter is Buck’s finger grooved version of the classic 110 Folder. The signature 110 was created by Buck fifty years ago in 1962, with a now classic nail notch lockback design that has been one of the knife industries most imitated features. The 110FG features a 3.75-inch clip point blade of 420HC stainless steel. The blade is enclosed within natural woodgrain handles with polished brass bolsters. It measures 4-7/8 inches long closed, weighs 7.2 ounces, and comes with a black leather sheath. As with all Buck Knives, the 110 comes with Buck’s 4-Ever Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

Buck knives are some of the best! The knife is exactly as requested. It is extremely well made and extremely sharp. Buck knives are great. Just wish I had read the details a little closer. This is an extremely long knife, not something that you would want to carry in your pocket all day. It does come with a well made leather sheath which makes it a perfect 10.
Can’t be happier I rarely write a review the first day I receive an item, but I’m also hardly ever blown away with the initial feel of quality either… companies just don’t make quality items any more. At first touch I was impressed. The weight is perfect, the wood and brass finish is smooth, the blade is polished and sharp and its lock and rotation is solid. This is a knife my great grandchildren will be using 40 years from now.
