Been carrying it around for a while and really like it. At first I thought the clip orientation … Largest of the Bantam series I believe. I have the orange blaze camo one, but wanted something “quieter”. Been carrying it around for a while and really like it. BUCK KNIFE – RECOMMEND I gave this knife five stars because I am very happy with it. The blade appears to be made of good steal. I can sharpen it to a fine edge and it seems to hold. It cuts well. It cuts wood well. The blade has got a good shape – good general purpose. The handle is of a composite material. A nice knife with a very dangerous design! A few years ago I bought the Bantam model by Buck.I didn’t receive the 286(large) though…I received the 285(medium).That’s okay though seeing a 286 model in person I was happy with this error from the seller.Moving forward the ergonomics of this knife feel quite good at it’s price range.I like that knurling they machine into the FRN scales at the sides.Some nice jimping at the handle butt and on the handle back for comfort.Perect amount of swedging on the blade spine for the blade’s size for…
