At 7.5lbs, the Tri Lite is one of Byer of Maine’s lightest weighing cots! Easy to carry from the car to your campsite, and it holds up to 250lbs. This cot combines a strong aluminum frame with high strength ripstop polyester fabric to create a strong, durable cot that can hold up to 250lbs. Wide enough to support both children and adults, it’s not so big that multiple cots can’t be used safely in a tent. Plus, the legs are designed specifically to not dig in and rip up the bottom of your tent. Setup is intuitive, but just in case, we’ve created an instructional video for your convenience. The cot breaks down to 27″ x 3″ x 8″, making it easy to carry when packed into its matching travel bag.The versatility of a good cot should not be underestimated. This simple yet stylish unit is well over six feet long and stands on sturdy spring-wire legs. Yet it is also light, weighing in at just seven pounds and sports a padded storage bag and storage pouches. All this means that the cot is highly portable, traveling neatly and efficiently for tent camping, guests in a spare room, or anywhere you need an extra surface.

Good camping/office cot. Very compact. This cot is about 1/2 the size of other foldable cots. The bed itself folds in thirds for transport. The three legs simply plug into pre-drilled holes in the body of the cot. Overall, the setup takes around 5 minutes (slightly slower than other cots but not difficult at all). Overall, I highly recommend these.

Great – but ONLY if you have the strength & coordination to get it set up It’s ok, IF YOU CAN SET IT UP. Delivered promptly, best cot ever once we found someone who could set it up, even following the directions scrupulously. My military son-in-law was the only person (of five in our family, not including the older kids) who had the strength to succeed, and then with a lot of effort, and we all are pretty strong and accustomed to putting together camping and hiking gear. Unfortunately, the cot was intended for my grandson to take on scout camping trips, and his Dad…

Easy, comfy, quality. Comfy, quick to set up and light/compact. It is a little on the narrow side, so when you curl up your knees on your side you will hit the metal bar. But it is a quality product that does what it says. And it is pretty darned comfortable. As for setting it up, I found it very easy, as long as you brace one hand on the rail as you guide the leg into the hole. If you can pull a bow string back, you can do this.Update: Taking one star off for disassembly issues. The two…
