The turquoise is beautiful, and they hold a lot We’ve only had these for about a month, but they work great so far. I bought them to replace some old melamine bowls that had gotten discolored over the years, and my husband and I actually prefer these ones since they have a nice, deep well for cereal.As with all melamine products, you don’t want to put these in the microwave, but they are top rack dishwasher-safe.

Very nice, a couple of caveats I had a couple of uglyish melamine rice bowls in the house, and they were what we kept reaching for. Lightweight, nice size, nice shape. Finally I decided to buy a set of 6 in plain white so they’d be attractive and we’d have enough. These are attractive, light, great to have around. Know that these are plastic, but they work When I purchased these, I didn’t know what “Melamine” meant. I thought they would be ceramic. They are plastic. I’m not complaining – I can drop them and they don’t break. They clean just fine in the dishwasher. I still have my plastic bowls from college 20+ years ago; they’re indestructible! My ceramic ones get dropped and shatter, or just inexplicably shatter in the dishwasher. Just be aware that while you can use these in the microwave, they get HOT. Hot enough to burn you.
