Also it comes with an additional lace so you can replace them whenever the old ones wear out. These are great for hiking, Arizona has plenty of trails to take these with. The heel is solid as I put my weight on it and I couldn’t feel it on my feet. The color is nice for keeping the shoes clean. I wear a 9 and a half but the 9 fit perfectly. Versatile shoe I bought these hiking shoes because they said they have waterproof leather. I have not worn these shoe in rainy weather yet to see if in fact the leather is waterproof or not. To me, they look nice and fit well. They would fit even better with thicker socks.The only thing I would like to see changed on these shoes is that the tongue be sewn all the way up the shoe to make the tongue area waterproof. As I said before though, I haven’t worn them in wet weather, so I haven’t seen how waterproof…
Comfy hiking shoes We are planning to go camping and hiking trip in June. We did a lot of preparation such as purchased a tent and privacy tent. My husband has never owned hiking shoes. So I decided buy him a pair. He tried them on, and said they felt very comfortable. He told me when he put them on there is plenty of space in the toe of the shoe and overall it is wider, which is what he needed.
