Not for me I bought this to use on the treadmill. I found that I had to suck too hard to get the water into my mouth. I bit on the rubber tip to open the slit, but it just didn’t work well for me. I have a different water bottle with a slimmer straw without the rubber tip/slit and the water comes out much faster. Maybe if I was hiking it wouldn’t matter to me, but I’m old (69) and huff and puff on that treadmill. I don’t want to exert the extra energy/breath trying to get water out of the dang bottle.
I would get symptoms like tiredness, weakness THIS WATER BOTTLE GROWS MOLD. DO NOT BUY. MADE ME SICK.after reading alot through the reviews i realized i wasn’t the only one who found this out.The small inner tube grows mold. I wash my camelback after every use. Recently i looked inside to see if it was clean (and it normally LOOKS clean) but this time there was black stuff i couldn’t scrape off so i ripped the tube out.I FOUND SO MUCH GUNK IN THE TUBE. and i realized this has probably attributed to my constant…

I read many reviews and was happy to purchase this so called “spill-proof sipping” bottle. To say the least this is NOT A SPILL PROOF BOTTLE. No matter what I did the water/BCAA’s I had in the bottle kept spilling all over the place…
