Plastic around hinge broke; Camelbak customer service shipped free replacement The plastic holder for the metal hinge and pin broke (I’ve had this bottle for about 8 months).From what I can tell, the plastic molding that holds the metal spring pin in place just can’t handle the stress that the metal spring exerts on it.My suggestion would be a metal retainer ring around the lid that would clamp to the spring pin, holding the hinge in place.
