Excellent new model CamelBak I love this CamelBak. My husband and I have several different sizes and models and this one is by far the best. Not only don’t you have to remove the bladder to fill it, but also you don’t have to line up the closing cap in a specific way. It screw closed from any position. It doesn’t have a large capacity, but I only want it for shorter walks: 3-6 miles.

Good Small CamelBak It appears some of the early adopters for this product purchasing both through Amazon and elsewhere had some issues with manufacturer defects with the bladder leaking. I purchased the product in mid May 2017 and have had no issues with leaking on a number of bike rides since then so perhaps the issue has been resolved. It’s relatively small and light, so it works well for shorter bike rides. There’s a small zipper pouch up front that’s fairly small but is large enough to fit a smart phone…

Easy solution to leaking problem! We, too, had massive leaking problems the first time we used this. Then, in trying repeatedly to get the lid screwed in and not leaking, we stumbled across the secret! Put the lid on, the slowly turn it to the LEFT first. You will hear a click and feel the lid drop down and seat itself. Then turn it to the right as you normally would to close it. Voila! ZERO leaking! Would have been nice to have some instructions to let you know to do this, but now you know. The lack of instructions is…
