Great bottle, if only it could be cleaned to prevent mold. I bought around 7 of the large and seven of the medium sized bottles. They were for an endurance race, but I have continued to use one of the large bottles repeatedly for daily use. I was quite happy with the design until the daily protein supplement I nurse in the morning started tasting moldy. Despite my efforts to keep the bottle clean, using a bottle brush, toothbrush, occasional diluted bleach solution, and regular hot water and soap, mold continued to build under the mouthpiece in areas…
Great for biking! I already have two Camelbak 70oz Rogue hydration pack for the wife and I. Sometimes it is too much firepower for an hour ride for exercise and it can be a pain to clean. The 25 oz and 21 oz are the perfect size to keep us hydrated in the 95-100 degree heat in the southwest. I usually fill the bottle with ice/water before the ride. Worth the money As an Army veteran, I am familiar with CamelBak products, which is why I chose this bottle. It seemed a little pricey, but you usually get what you pay for. When it arrived, I noticed a slight crinkling of the insulation, like the bottle had something heavy sitting on it at some time. However, the bottle wasn’t punctured and the insulation value did not seem affected.
