Served its purpose Great product for both hot and cold weather which I required for a Peru trip. Fit well over my beanie to shade the sun. Easy to pack though it got a little squished on the brim from folding to pack. Chin strap was very helpful and held well in the wind. Used for 10 day trip (everyday) and then donated in Peru along with other gear to pack lighter on the way home.
Perfect for kayaking My husband and I are kayakers and we both were in need of a hat that would not only cover our heads but also tie securely under the chin, provide shade on our faces, and allow our heads to remain cool. We finally got to try out our hats a few days ago. And they are perfect. I especially like my orange hat as it matches my life jacket.
