Only 1.6 lbs Great set! Perfect for 2-3 ppl. Could easily scramble 2-3 eggs at a time in the skillet. The entire set weighed only 1.6 lbs. This is great for my bug out bag but will also use it camping for sure. I realize some families pack up the whole house and get electric sites to cookup a family bbq but my family always roughed when we camped. This kit fits the bill and will get er done when needed. If i got food to cook in this set, im a grateful human being that day… even if camping.
Too cute This is the cutest set ever. It”s nicer than the average camping cook set. The skillet is the perfect size for one egg over-medium or one pancake, maybe two scrambled eggs. It is quite small but perfect for those little things. The pot is the perfect size for one can of beans or pasta roni or some gravy. The material is not like a tin-can or enamel. Worth more than the price. Best kit! This was made in China…. But don’t be fooled, this is probably one of the best mess kits for the cost you can get, plus it’s small enough to fit inside even a high school backpack. The only con is that the handles are made of plastic and don’t dissapate the heat so it gets hot if your not careful.Cleaning is very easy, it seems like the coating is Teflon like and even the soot from a fire comes off with light cleaning.Very pleased with this purchase.
