The Medium Amber Bone CV Stockman is a part of the Amber Bone CV Family. Our Amber Bone color and Peach Seed jig are signatures of the Case brand and the true heart of the Case line. Many Case users call on our traditional alloy steel blades to get the job done right while enjoying its ease of re-sharpening. Stockmans pack three blades in a convenient but very practical pocket knife. This durable folding knife features our peach seed jig amber bone handle and chrome vanadium blades. The Clip and Sheepfoot blade sit on the pocket end while the Pen blade sits on the cap end. The Clip blade is commonly used as a multi-purpose blade and preferred for detail work. The Sheepfoot blade allows for added strength at the point making it great for carving and achieving a clean cut. The Pen blade is great for light work. This knife is constructed with our chrome vanadium (CV) steel. Some knife lovers will settle for nothing less than chrome vanadium blades, since this special formula of alloyed steel is the “original” Case blade steel. Case chrome vanadium blades are known for their edge-holding ability and easy re-sharpening. However, they are less resistant to rusting, pitting and discoloration than stainless steel. We recommend keeping a thin film of oil on the blade to maintain the finish. This ensures that your knife will be around for future generations to enjoy. This multi-purpose pocket knife is perfect for everyday situations, hiking, or hunting. Comes conveniently packaged in a box. Made in Bradford, PA, USA from domestic and imported materials.

Medium is in the eye of the beholder…but this is great size/style for office/home, excellent fit and finish, solid blades This medium stockman from Case is on the smaller side of medium – I also have the amber bone medium stockman which is larger. To put the size in perspective with their competitors from Buck, the Case medium brown stockman is about the size of the Buck 303 Cadet while the Case medium amber bone stockman is just a tad smaller than the Buck 301 Stockman. I guess medium is in the eye of the beholder. The fit and finish of the Case knife is excellent. It is a handsome knife, with a…

Halfway There The fit and finish on this knife was good. The bone covers have a nice feel to them and are well polished from bolsters to back springs. Excellent walk and talk on the sheepsfoot and pen blade which share a back spring, opening and closing with a good crisp snap. However, the spring on the main clip blade is a fairly weak. It opens a closes with a dissatisfying, lazy sigh. I mainly use the pen blade for whittling so not a deal breaker. The factory grinds on all three blades were…

Beautiful! Wow. This is a gorgeous medium stockman! I have quite a few Case knives (about 30 or so), and this one is right up there with the best of them. Fit and finish is excellent. The pocket worn old red bone scales are done well. This knife has the regular Case clip blade, as opposed to the California clip blade on the yellow Case medium stockman in cv (also a 6318 model). I prefer the clip blade on this red bone model. This knife is quite eye-catching and shiny. Very attractive. Of course, it’s a…
