The Case Yellow CV Mini Trapper is a work-ready knife, built for use all day long. Mini Trappers are a smaller version of our Trapper. This durable folding knife features a yellow synthetic handle with two full length blades, the Clip blade and the Spey blade. The bright yellow handle color will keep this Case Mini Trapper easily within your sight. The Clip blade is commonly used as a multi-purpose blade and preferred for detail work. The Spey blade is commonly used as an all-purpose utility blade. The basic trapping and skinning blades make this a must-have knife for those who trap small game. This knife is constructed with our chrome vanadium (CV) steel. Some knife lovers will settle for nothing less than chrome vanadium blades, since this special formula of alloyed steel is the “original” Case blade steel. Case chrome vanadium blades are known for their edge-holding ability and easy re-sharpening. However, they are less resistant to rusting, pitting and discoloration than stainless steel. We recommend keeping a thin film of oil on the blade to maintain the finish. This ensures that your knife will be around for future generations to enjoy. Case = 100% Hand-Made American Quality This one was a little lighter than I prefer but it’s a Case and that means American Quality. I would agree in this case (no pun intended) the color you’re getting is portrayed perfectly in the picture. A fine pocket-sized knife for normal daily uses I have two Mini Trapper knives. This review was originally written for the one with chestnut panels. Nothing beats A Case Knife! This was a gift for my youngest Son. I have bought several Case Knives in the past for gifts and will continue in the future.
