Direction readings and time are indicated by large, easy-to-read figures. A large LCD is divided into three segments for a clear, easy-to-understand presentation of data. The thermometer function is useful only if you remove the watch for a little … I have had this watch for over a year now and it is holding up well! I replaced my $200+ Casio G-Shock Mudman with this watch and it is holding up just as well. This watch has held up to all the stress i have put it through. The white print on the band has worn off and the gray plastic on the very edge between buttons has worn to a lighter grey. All other words have stayed crisp and clear. Great value for the durability and feature set, but don’t buy it for the temperature feature. For the price, this is a brilliant watch that can take fair amount of abuse. I’ve owned it nearly 2 years now and worn it 5-7 days per week for 1.5 years, often sleeping with it and wearing it in the shower. The band has now begun to show signs of wear and will need to be replaced within the month.
