Not as good as I would have liked The edge on the knife was terrible. Had to reprofile the edge right off the bat. The steal seems to hold a good edge. The sheath is nice but leather seems kinda fake, almost like it has a plastic like coating or something, not sure. For the money I think the tops silent hero or esee 6 would have bean a much better choice. Quality control just isn’t there…..at least with the one I received

So So This knife is very heavily constructed. Well constructed sheath, nice thick blade, spine is flat with a nice 90 degree grind, gimping on the spine is deep and sharp providing almost to much “bite”. My biggest complaint with this knife is that the maker takes the time to construct what appears to be quality knife and then can’t even get the grinds for the blade to even be somewhat even. There is almost 1/4″ difference in the grinds. I’ve had $20 knives that were more concentric than…

I would definitely buy this again. This is an extremely nice unit. Brought mine out on the trail this weekend, and it passed every test (chopping, batoning, splitting, feather sticks, fatwood shavings, fish cleaning, etc) that I put it through while the blade kept a sharp edge. Firesteel worked great using both the included striker, and knife spine. A bonus to the sheathe is the nice clean edge that I actually used to hone the blade edge to razor sharp.
